Norman, OK - Sam's Club employee impersonates others in order to purchase gift cards.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Norman resident Sandy Kay Coehlo, 38, was employed at the local Sam's Club on West Main.
It seems that during her employment, police allege Coehlo would use the personal information of Sam's Club members to "resubmit credit card applications and obtain a duplicate card."
Once Coehlo had her new shinny credit cards in hand, she allegedly would use them to purchase Sam's Club gift cards for herself.
Court papers do not detail the amount of money or types of merchandise fraudulently obtained from the gift cards. But, the day after Christmas, Coehlo was formerly charged in Cleveland County with four counts of felony identity theft.
Coehlo is out on bond and awaiting her January 9 court date.

Brothers Brawl at Norman Halloween Party
Norman, OK - Brothers out on the town celebrating Halloween allegedly decide to spice things up a little bit with some tag team ass kicking.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the Matthews siblings, Brent, 21, and Kelly, 23, (both listed as students at the University of Oklahoma) were at Moe's restaurant in Norman.
At some point in the wee hours of October 29, the brothers approached a group of party goers.
According to witness statements, Kelly got into a verbal altercation with Christopher H. (a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and senior at OU) regarding "comments about Halloween costumes."
Kelly Matthews decided talk was cheap and cold-cocked C.H. "causing him to loose consciousness."
Apparently knocking a frat dude out cold was not enough for the redneck duo as they reportedly both began kicking and hitting the man about his head and face. So much so that the victim had to have reconstructive surgery and metal plates implanted into the right side of his eye and face.
As if this Jerry Springer moment wasn't enough, when another male patron (and fellow OU student) tried to stop the Matthews siblings from beating the stuffings out of C.H., he too was attacked. Reportedly this second attack victim required surgery to correct a dislocated shoulder caused by Kelly Matthews.
You can follow Brent's case here and Kelly's case here.
Nothing like a little felony assault and battery conviction to add to your college transcript and resume.

OU Student Furnishes Apt with University Property
Norman, OK - OU student allegedly furnished his dorm room with property belonging to the University.
According to court papers, OU freshman Robert Wayne Johns Jr., 18, decided that his dorm would be much more hip if it only incorporated a few choice pieces of furniture - the problem? The furniture he picked out belonged to the university.
Apparently on or about December 6, Johns Jr. absconded with a few unspecified pieces of university property that had previously been located in "the commons area of the OU Walker Tower and was using in his residence hall room for personal use."
Upon questioning by OU police, Johns Jr. reportedly replied, "...it looks good in here and it's more comfortable in here now."
None to impressed with Johns Jr's redecorating resourcefulness, on December 20 he was charged with the felony crime of receiving stolen property.
